User Profile

Introduction to Your Profile
After creating an account through any of the sign-up and login methods, you can edit your user profile by:
- Clicking the User Profile link in the left-side navigation bar under settings.
- Clicking your name in the top right of the application and selecting the appropriate option.
Note that you will not need to choose between organizations. All actions within FTE Tree are tied to a single organization at a time. Your dashboard is the only place where information from multiple organizations is displayed simultaneously, and you can only acknowledge messages from the dashboard.
Name
You can change your first and last name here, which will be displayed throughout the application.
- If you signed up with a social login, your name may be pre-populated.
- If you created a local FTE Tree account, you may need to add your name manually.
- If no name is provided, your system-generated username will be displayed.
Preferences
Customize various settings in this tab:

Default Organization: Select the default organization to determine which labels are used on your dashboard. This helps in choosing which organization's labels are displayed if you are a member of multiple organizations with different labels.

Time Zone: Choose your time zone to ensure dates and times are displayed correctly in FTE Tree. We do not attempt to guess your time zone but ask you to select it explicitly. When your account is first created, it defaults to the organization's time zone, which you can change at any time.

Notification Emails: Opt out of specific notification emails, such as position approvals or cancellations. Emails not specified here are always sent and usually include important notifications about your account.
Change Password
You can change your local FTE Tree password here.
- Enter the new password twice to ensure accuracy and avoid being locked out.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) or two-factor authentication (2FA) is available.
- We strongly encourage setting up MFA to enhance account security.
- Your organization may also require MFA for accessing their data. For more information, see here.
Active and Recent Sign-Ins
View your active and recent sign-in history here.
- Click 'Logout All Other Sessions' to log out from all other devices.
- Despite automatic logout after inactivity or closing your browser, you might still be logged in elsewhere. If you notice suspicious logins, please contact us.
Connected Accounts (Microsoft or Google)
Add or disconnect third-party or social accounts for signing into FTE Tree.
- If you disconnect a third-party account and do not have a local FTE Tree account, you will need to create one with a password.
Email Addresses
Update your email address here.
- If you signed up using a social account, the email address will be shown here.
- You can also add additional email addresses.
- Be aware that your organization may restrict email addresses to ensure compliance with their account policies. If needed, update your email address to maintain access and receive notifications.
Permissions
This section summarizes your permissions within FTE Tree.
- It shows the entities, service lines, and departments you can access and the permission groups you belong to.
- If you need additional permissions, please contact your organization's administrator.
Organization Invitations
When an organization’s administrator invites you to join their account, you will receive an email notification.
- Accept the invitation here to gain access to that organization.
